About me
Hello and welcome. I am Rosie, a calm and compassionate person-centred counsellor.
I offer one-to-one counselling in Penryn, Cornwall. I create a safe, warm and non-judgemental space for you to heal, in your own time and to your own agenda. I believe we all have the answers within ourselves and that my role is to safely aid you in your exploration of the why, and come to the how of what you need to find change.
I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Level 4, Cornwall Adult Education’s CPCAB course. I believe in the inherent value of the person-centred approach in counselling and this is my foundation. My learning is ongoing and I am pursuing further training in specialisms of Gestalt and trauma-informed practice to better support my work.
I am registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I adhere to their ethical standards, take time to reflect on my own safety in offering counselling and receive regular supervision to maintain a healthy practice. I am fully insured to offer in-person sessions, walk and talk sessions and online & phone work.
I work as a volunteer counsellor with Pegasus Men’s Wellbeing Charity.
Beyond the counselling room, I love to dance and be in nature. Keeping balance in my life ensures that I can show up 100% for you and that you are the focus of our time together. I live and work in Penryn, Cornwall.

ASIST Suicide Training
Group Facilitator’s Training Level 2 (Pegasus)
Walk and Talk Therapy online training
